Simplify. To slow down, pare down, calm down.

I often feel overwhelmed with all the “stuff.” Too much information on the web. I want to stay informed and educated, but I can’t read every article, every post, every tweet. Too many things. I enjoy my books, clothes, travel mementos, but sometimes I feel suffocated by them as well.

Feeling overwhelmed often leads me to shut down and zone out. Instead of focusing on activities that soothe my soul, I binge on Netflix. This feels good in the moment, but inevitably leads to guilt and more frustration.

Simplify. To stop shaming, stressing, avoiding.
